Stefano De Dominicis
Education, Background, and Philosophy
My name is Stefano De Dominicis, PhD, and I serve as the co-director of the Coaching Psychology Unit at the University of Copenhagen. I bring over 15 years of international experience in clinical psychotherapy, sport and health psychology and mental coaching.
I have pioneered the development and integration of advanced methodologies from Italy, USA, Finland, Switzerland, and Denmark, focusing on clinical, performance, and talent psychology worldwide. Since 2022, I've been the Head of International Affairs at the Cenpis Group – Italian National Academy of Talent and Quality of Life, spearheading international projects with a variety of institutions, from global corporations to public sectors.
As a dedicated educator, I cherish the art of communication and continuously strive to enhance my knowledge in evidence-based psychological methods, clinical psychology, and psychotherapy. I am a principal instructor in various education programs, ensuring academic rigor and periodically teaching externally across the country.
Engagement and Supervision
I believe in the power of learning and sharing knowledge. My work involves teaching, supervision, lectures, and therapy. I am passionate about the transformative potential of a well-informed audience united by a common learning objective. Having presented at various scientific conferences and organizational events, I find public speaking both exciting and profoundly rewarding.
Good supervision is the backbone of my therapeutic craft, aiding me in offering the best possible support to my clients. I am committed to personal and professional growth, both through receiving regular supervision and by providing it to my colleagues and professionals elsewhere.
